We haven't got a squad to survive a premiership season , let alone Europa..

Suicide.

Re: do u want Europa league football next season - yes or no?
For the three qualifying rounds and the play-offs, a club may register a
maximum of one new eligible player on List A after the above-mentioned
deadlines, provided the quota of locally trained players is respected. Such
registration must be completed by 24.00 CET on the day before the relevant
first-leg match and the club's association must confirm in writing that the new
player is eligible to play at domestic level at this time.

Re: do u want Europa league football next season - yes or no?
Last year's registration periods.

a) 23 June 2014 (24.00 CET) for all matches in the first qualifying round;
b) 11 July 2014 (24.00 CET) for all matches in the second qualifying round;
c) 25 July 2014 (24.00 CET) for all matches in the third qualifying round;
d) 11 August 2014 (24.00 CET) for all matches in the play-off round;
e) 2 September 2014 (24.00 CET) for all further matches from the first match
in the group stage up to and including the final

Re: do u want Europa league football next season - yes or no?
If we can get through the first couple of rounds with these players hopefully available then we can add in some new signings/bring players back from extended break after international duty.

Available for 2 July baring injury

Adrian
Howes

O'Brien
Cresswell
Hendrie - not sure as he doesn't officially sign until 1/7
Collins
Tomkins
Reid - depends on NZ call up
Henry - depends on injury recovery

Noble
Cullen
Amalfitano
Nolan
Downing
Jarvis

Sakho
Zarate
Maiga
Lee
Carroll - depends on injury recovery

Any new signings in the first week in July should be available for the 2nd rd

Likes of Valencia, Kouyate and Poyet will be back for 2nd/3rd qualifying round as on extended international break.

The first List of 25 players must be registered by around 23 June, as was the case last year, although you can change 1 player right up to midnight on the day before the 1st leg of the 1st qualifying round so I'd presume we might use that for a more high profile signing.

Yes but only if the squad is added to quality in depth otherwise there is no way we can fight on 4 fronts with a squad like this seasons!!

Ease up on the PL to aim for about 14th/15th place, while going all out to win the Europa and blag our way in to the Champion's League.

Sounds like a plan.

One article in the media today suggesting the powers that be should assist premiership clubs that play in the Europa league should only play home Sunday games after Thursday night Europa league. That would help.

48 now Huffers mate. I dont think I bothered watching 3 games last season and not many more this season . When they are playing dross and you are watching on the box on your own at 3 in the morning there's not much chance of enjoying yourself. If you go to the game its a day on the piss with your mates , bit of a laugh and a bit of a rant and hopefully the team win, Even though people are spending lots of dough on games. I can still the incentive to go if I was living their

I personally think Europe would be a bit too early for a squad out of form and probably even with the new players . I recall the inter toto when we came out flying in the league. if we play the qualifiers I suppose it would help the team gel a bit

You need to ignore the sky infested obsession with the premier league and remember football is about enjoyment and not finishing in the top 10 of a league we can never win without a billionaire.

Would snap your arm off at a decent European and domestic cup run and 15th place in the league playing the right way.

Watford, Bournemouth and possibly Boro will be in our league next year. I could keep this squad above them !

Re: do u want Europa league football next season - yes or no?
We don't have a strong enough / confident enough manager to compete in the cups. Last 4 exits:

WBA 4 - 0 WHU
WHU 1 - 1 SU (Penalties)
MC 9 - 0 WHU
NF 5 - 0 WHU

Re: do u want Europa league football next season - yes or no?
Ricky, now I'm confused! How is our best hope of a premier league season a place in Europe? Me no get it.

Anyhow, I do agree that it would be great for the club and for the supporters to have European games to go to but I still think that unless we have quite a overhaul of the squad with quite a few really decent players it could well have a detrimental effect. We don't have a strong enough squad to complete in the 3 domestic competitions at the moment let alone 4. Could well be wrong but maybe being a west ham fan under allardyce has turned me into more of a pessimistic fan than I ever have been

Is it playing at a higher level than currently? Yes. What is the point in playing if we dont try to progress?

Everton have had a terrible season after going quite a way in Europe, they're just one place above us!
